Market Stadium analyzed the MSA (Metropolitan Statistical Area)-level numbers of Tech Talent based on BLS categorization and compared it with the CBRE's city-level ranking. The cities in the final list came out similar except for Denver which was ranked 14th based on Market Stadium analysis.

Here are the results from CBRE's top 10 Tech Talent Labor Pools in the year 2020. There was no surprise as San Francisco with Silicon Valley marked the top, followed by other metropolises including New York and Washington D.C.

Market Stadium's ranking was slightly different because the analysis was based on MSA-level. It came out that New York-Newark-Jersey City MSA had the most numbers of tech talent, followed by Los-Angeles-Long Beach-Anaheim, CA. San Francisco-Oakland-Berkeley MSA was ranked 4th on the list.
In addition, Market Stadium data team conducted a correlation analysis between high-tech employees & housing value. The correlation between the two variables is over 60% which explains there is a high correlation between these two factors.
Market Stadium data team also performed a forecast of high-tech employees for the next 3 years between 2021-2024 and here is the list of Top 20 MSAs with the best forecast of High-tech employees.
